So what’s the difference between a life coaching conversation and a chat with a good friend?
Both are in your corner and want the best for you. They support you when life gets difficult and help you work through challenges in your life. But even friends can have unhelpful opinions or their own agenda, they may have their own problems to worry about or may not always be totally honest with you. A life coaching conversation is all about you, the problems you are dealing with and what the best outcome is for you.
We all need to cope with changes at some point. Sometimes we choose to make a change, sometimes change just happens, such as a job loss or relationship ending. How we deal with those first few stages of change can impact our life for a long time. But it’s difficult to make positive choices when we feel a bit lost or let down.
Tell me more about life coaching.
A life coach works with you to gain clarity about your life right now and decide where you want to be in the future. They help you define what’s holding you back and structure a plan to reach your goals. Life coaching isn’t counselling, we won’t look to the past for answers. You have within you all the skills and tools to create your ideal life, a coach will help you find them and support you on your journey.
What sort of support?
That depends on what you need. Are you overwhelmed? Unsure where your life is going? Keep making plans but find it hard to get started? Always running out of time and never seem to get things finished? Do you lack confidence or need help to stay on track? Are there skills you need to work on to reach your goal?
Whatever’s holding you back, we can work on it.

I don’t do hard sell, I want to work with people who are ready to take positive action to change their lives for the better.
If you want to go further, we can arrange Skype sessions once or twice a week to continue to bridge the gap between where you are now, and where you want to be. If you like I can also give you email support in between sessions to see how you’re getting on with the homework.
Yep. The only way to create positive change is to take positive action. In each session we will plan steps for you to take to bring you closer to your ideal reality. How large the steps are is up to you and I’ll be here if you get stuck.
